Three Students from the Third year presented a paper at the National level Technical Symposium WOOTZ, organized by the Indian Insitute of Metals, Coimbatore chapter held at PSG Tech, Coimbatore.

It was done under the guidance of Assistant Professor Savyasachi N.

They secured Third prize in the competition.

Seminar on Fundamentals And Advances In Sheet Metal Forming Technologies

Resource person: Dr. K. Narasimhan, Professor, IIT Bombay.He is the Coordinator of Centre of Excellence in Steel Technology (CoEST), Member, board of governors, IIT Bombay and was the Chairman of JEE 2014. He has more than 100 publications in journal and conference proceedings. He is an expert in Sheet Metal Forming, Ring Rolling, Flow Forming, Hydro-forming, Hot Stamping, Modelling and Simulation.
